“ Went for all you can eat sushi with a group of friends and it was such a great time! The restaurant is BYOB, so we were able to bring a bottle of wine to split. You order the sushi and kitchen items from a form/checklist as the menu and it all came out so fast! We ended up ordering so much sushi that it came out in a boat, so fun!! ”
“ Been back a few times since trying Miga for the first time in 2023. My friends and family love this place! All you can eat is the way to go, and we love trying different rolls. Personally I think it's a great value for all you can eat - just come hungry!! Service is alright, I think they could be a bit more proactive and check in more frequently. Ambiance is decent - nothing crazy but I don't mind, the sushi is great! ”
“ What a hot spot. Sushi is superb and incredibly fresh. Ask for the fried rice w very little oil and you won't be disappointed. I lived in korea for a bit and their yaki is on point. A must stop for anyone who has never been. ”
“ Finally tried Miga and it didn't disappoint. Ample and easy parking. Ordering was a breeze. Water's delivered promptly. Everything was fresh and delicious. We were in and out in less than an hour with the all you can eat option. 5% discount for cash. ”
“ Possibly the best ayce sushi in NJ. Been here so many times for birthdays and special occasions. Fish is always fresh and decent quality. Snow White roll is a must have favorite. Finish off with green tea ice cream and it's the perfect sushi meal! ”
“ It's always a little hectic when walking in here on a busy Friday or Saturday night, but with reason. The sushi here is incredible and some of the best. You can taste how fresh some of the ingredients are. The place is very casual and BYOB. If you opt for AYCE sushi, come hungry! The Denville Roll is a must try!! ”
“ I'm a frequent flyer at the Miga Wayne location so I was excited to give the Denville location a whirl. It definitely exceeded my expectations! First of all, this place gets packed so highly recommended a reservation for weekends. I went with a party of 8 and we had no issue being sat on a Saturday night with a rez. The portions are also very generous for the price. Some of the best in the area I would say. I had a salmon teriyaki bento box and it was so much food! There was no way I was finishing it all. They even gave us a sweet treat at the end on the house. This location is also quite large, much bigger than the Wayne one. I'll definitely be back to dine in! ”
“ This restaurant was suggested by my son as a fun outing with family and a few of his friends, so 8 of us ventured out there last evening. I was blown away by the number of patrons awaiting tables, and even more so by the sheer volume of those to grab pick-up orders. I felt we made a good choice if this joint was this hopping! It was good Friday, however, so perhaps a bunch of beef eaters chose the Christian appropriate dining option! We had a 6:30pm reservation, and were seated by 6:45pm. Not bad, given that it's all you can eat and the best restaurant manager cannot estimate how long a table may be seated, I get it. A few tables were pushed together and nicely cleaned/prepped to facilitate our group and we handed in our first order of sushi. All eight of us opted for the "all you can eat" dining, rather than a la carte pricing. Seemed to make sense, even though two of our group don't touch sushi. They likey overpaid for what they consumed. Our first "boat" of rolls came out fairly quickly, especially given the crowded status of the restaurant. The rolls look good enough, if not a bit mushy. I can't explain it, but most discounted sushi tends to have that lack of firmness that higher-end places display. The straight tuna pieces were a bit of a disappointment, as the texture and color were off. I can only imagine they cannot procure "sushi grade" tuna at these prices. The specialty rolls were all pretty good, the avocado bright in color and fresh tasting. They really do keep bringing it as long as you're ordering, as we also requested a robust second serving. We demolished all but one little piece, which was no issue. I understand they will add to your bill any rolls not consumed to control waste, which I fully support. One little piece did not incur such a charge. The kids all ordered tempora fried oreos for dessert, and they honestly looked sad and unappetizing. I did not partake. Most interesting to me was the wasabi and ginger dishes, as I've never seen wasabi with quite that luminescent green color to it. I cannot describe it, except it looked reminiscent of pistachio ice cream or similar. It wasn't the best tasting wasabi I've ever consumed, but far from bad and it packed a decent amount of heat. I'd go back, but wouldn't have my spouse order all you can eat. I think she had miso soup and chicken strips and paid $33. Bad move. ”
“ They have redeemed themselves with takeout. I ordered a yellowtail scallion roll, Alaska roll, and mrs tiger roll and because I don't eat gluten they took out the flakes, put the sauce on the side, and even gave me gf soy sauce without me asking. The fish was fresh and delicious and the rolls were each unique and tasty. Very reasonably priced and quick too (15 min pickup) ”
“ My wife and I are exploring to find our new sushi home as we moved up to Morris County and this is a great contender for it. Food: we ordered harumaki to start (spring roll) and it was pretty good, but the sushi is what sold us. We ordered the Beauty and the Beast, Ms. Tiger, and Sexy Roll which are had a great mix of taste and flavor. Service: I was impressed at how much of a well oiled machine this was. Besides our waitress, we were checked up on by another three waiters/waitresses. Definitely great! Ambiance: chairs and tables cover the floor as the sushi making station sits perched in the middle. Definitely a unique style. ”
